A brief history from Linvilla Orchards - The Linvill family has offered a place to swim and cool off on hot summer days ever since Arthur Linvill bought the farm in 1914. What began as a swimming hole became Knowlton Swim Club in 1928. In the early 1960's, the waiting list for Knowlton was so long that Paul and Larry Linvill built a state of the art facility that they called Hidden Hollow Swim Club, which opened in 1965. Today, friends and family continue to flock to Linvilla Orchards' swim clubs.
